Home Theater Calibrated Specifications:
These measurements are taken from the projector, as it would be set up in your home theater. The projector is calibrated to ISF specification including
setting the color temperature for the video standard of 6500˚K.
Ansi Lumen specifications :
This is the ANSI Lumen specification typically found listed in sales literature. This number is included to allow for direct comparison with other prod-
ucts. These measurements may be taken at 9,000 to 13,000˚K to get expected performance as data, professional and industrial displays.
Foot-Lamberts:
This is the standard used to measure brightness in the typical film-based theater. The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE)
recommends a screen brightness of 16 foot-Lamberts in a commercial theater. Foot-lamberts account for the projectors brightness, screen size, and
screen gain to describe the brightness of a motion picture rather than the brightness of the lamp.
*All measurements were made at RUNCO International to ANSI/NAPM IT7.228-1997 specification using the Photo Research PR-650
SpectraColorimeter, Video Essentials test DVD, and a Stewart Filmscreen Studiotek 130 screen. The projector is calibrated to 6500˚K and has a mini-
mum of 150 hours of usage.
